After the murder of the reputed businessman Gopal Khemka, when Patna Police raided the jail, many mobile phones were recovered. Even today, mobile phones are being used by prisoners in Adarsh Central Jail Beur Jail, such a case has come before the court and police. A prisoner lodged in Beur Jail has threatened not to testify on mobile and said that if he reaches the court, he will be killed in the court today itself. The victim witness has appealed to the court.

In the year 2023, Anil Singh's son was murdered in Ibrahimpur village of Naubatpur. Regarding this, the victim had registered case number 784/23 in Naubatpur police station. Police arrested many criminals involved in the incident and sent them to jail. Accused Brajesh Kumar is still lodged in Beur jail. Trial of case number 784/23 is going on in Danapur Additional District Judge 5. Anil Singh was to testify in Danapur court today in the case of murder of his son. Accused Brajesh Kumar lodged in Beur jail called witness Anil Singh from mobile number 8986007287 and threatened that if he goes to testify, he will get him killed in the court. Earlier also Anil Singh was threatened by the accused, regarding this an FIR was lodged in Naubatpur police station and the victim was given two security personnel to go to and come from Danapur court.
Taking the matter seriously, Additional District Sessions Judge 5 has sent a letter to Danapur police station in-charge for action. As soon as the matter reached the police, the ears of senior police officers perked up. City SP Bhanu Pratap reached Danapur Civil Court without any delay and investigated the case. Victim Anil Singh has been sent home under tight security. The use of mobile phones by prisoners in Beur Jail has exposed the security system and has raised the question as to when the conspiracy of crime from Beur Jail will stop.
