CRICKET TO CHANGE DESTINY OF MUSAHAR YOUTHS

ARA----------------------The four-day Mata Shabari Cricket Tournament-2025 and Musahar Community Development Ceremony, organized by the Nai Asha organization, was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp at Veer Kunwar Singh Stadium in Ara.

The grand inauguration of the four-day Mata Shabari Cricket Tournament-2025 and Musahar Community Development Ceremony, organized by the Nai Asha organization, took place on Saturday at Veer Kunwar Singh Stadium in Ara with the lighting of the lamp. After the inauguration ceremony, the captains of all the teams honored the dignitaries on the stage by presenting them with bouquets, mementos, and shawls. According to the organizers, the main objective of this sporting event is to instill confidence in the youth of underprivileged communities, especially the Musahar community, through sports and to connect them with the mainstream of opportunities.

Bihar Government's Labor Resources Minister Sanjay Singh Tiger, Barhara MLA Raghavendra Pratap Singh, Jagdishpur MLA Shri Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha, Sandesh MLA Radhacharan Shah, Shahpur MLA Rakesh Vishweshwar Ojha, industrialist Ajay Kumar Singh, and President of FUTAB Bihar, Prof. Kanhaiya Bahadur Sinha, were specially present at the inauguration ceremony. During the inauguration, all the guests met the players and encouraged them.

On this occasion, Barhara MLA Raghavendra Pratap Singh said that this tournament has been designed as a powerful platform for the betterment and social upliftment of the Musahar community. He said that sports not only strengthen mutual unity but also instill self-respect and motivation to move forward among the weaker sections of society. He expressed confidence that this event will open new avenues for the children and youth of the Musahar community and will prove to be a strong step towards their bright future.
