ARA--------------------------On the occasion of Constitution Day, November 26th, the CPI-ML organized a nationwide protest against the Modi government's implementation of the four pro-corporate labor code laws in Ara. The CPI-ML organized a meeting in Ara, starting from the CPI-ML district office in Ara, passing through Shivganj Mathiya Nawada Chowk in the city, and reaching the Ara railway station premises. Before the meeting began, the CPI-ML collectively recited the Preamble of the Constitution and pledged to protect the Indian Constitution. Addressing the gathering, CPI-ML Central Committee member and MP Sudama Prasad said that the Indian Constitution is our soul, giving women, the poor, Dalits, backward tribals, farmers, and laborers the right to live with dignity and respect within the country. It is thanks to the Constitution that today, whether rich or poor, men or women, or people of any religion or caste, have numerous rights, including the right to choose their representatives by casting a single vote. MP Sudama Prasad further stated that the current BJP government is constantly attacking their rights! Whether it's depriving students from poor communities of their right to education through the new education policy, or taking away the rights of workers through four labor laws, or taking away the rights of farmers through anti-farmer art laws, or taking away the water, forests, and land of tribal communities through anti-tribal laws, all to benefit capitalists!
Therefore, people from all walks of life, regardless of their religion, caste, or creed, need to unite and stand up against this dictatorial government! The meeting was conducted by CPI-ML District Office Secretary Dilraj Pritam!
The protest march was attended by CPI-ML Central Committee member and former MLA Manoj Manzil, Central Committee member Raju Yadav, State Committee member and former MLA Shiv Prakash Ranjan, State Committee member Vijay Ojha, State Committee member Sudhir Singh, Kyamuddin Ansari, Barhara Block Secretary Nandji, Koilwar Block Secretary Bishnu Thakur, Bihiya Block Secretary Harendra Singh, District Committee member Rajnath Ram, Innaus District Secretary Niranjan Keshari, farmer leader Birbal Yadav, Chandeshwar Ram, Suresh Singh, Manoj Yadav, AISA leader Roshan Kushwaha, Jaishankar Prasad, Anup Kumar, Ankit Raj, Santvilas Ram, Ritesh Kumar and hundreds of others.
