CPI-ML HELD A PROTEST MEETING AT AGIAON OVER THE LAHARPA INCIDENT
A protest meeting was organized by CPI-ML in Agiaon on Saturday in protest against the recent shooting and killing of three people in Laharpa village of Bhojpur. Before the meeting, many leaders including Dipankar Bhattacharya reached Laharpa village and met the victim's family. Bhattacharya condemned the incident in strong words and said that the whole party stands with the family in this hour of grief.

ARA----------------------------A protest meeting was organized by CPI-ML in Agiaon on Saturday in protest against the recent shooting and killing of three people in Laharpa village of Bhojpur. Before the meeting, many leaders including Dipankar Bhattacharya reached Laharpa village and met the victim's family. Bhattacharya condemned the incident in strong words and said that the whole party stands with the family in this hour of grief.
The fight will continue till justice is served. Before the protest meeting, tribute was paid to the 26 tourists who were victims of the Pahalgam terrorist attack and the three youths who were killed by criminals in Laharpa. Block Secretary Raghuvar Paswan presided over the meeting and Upendra Bharti conducted it.
Addressing the meeting, Dipankar Bhattacharya said that the Laharpa incident is a matter of anger and concern for Bhojpur. The incident took place on April 20 in the state that claims development with justice and today is May 3. The victims have not got justice till now. Even after 14 days, criminals are roaming freely. BJP people are boosting the morale of criminals. BJP wants to establish the rule of criminals in Bihar, its plans have to be shattered.
He said that the job of the government is to guarantee the safety of the people. MP Sudama Prasad said that Bhojpur has a history of fighting against feudalism. Raju Yadav said that this brutal massacre is a direct attack on the re-emerging feudal dominance and social justice in Bihar. Former MLA Vijendra Yadav said that BJP-JDU will take the votes of the backwards, but will not share their grief. Not a single leader reached Laharpa to meet the victims.
Present in the meeting were CPI(ML) state secretary Kunal, Agiaon MLA Shiv Prakash Ranjan, former MLA Manoj Manzil, former MLA Arun Yadav, RJD leader Adib Rizvi, Agiaon block chief Mukesh Yadav, youth RJD leader Shailendra Ram, Insaf Manch state secretary Qayamuddin Ansari, AIPWA district secretary Indu Singh, former MLA Chandradeep Singh, Ramesh, Sanjay Singh, Sudhir Kumar and Vijay Ojha, Mantu Yadav and others.
