Cooperative Minister Dr. Prem Kumar inaugurated the "Kisan Sahakari Chaupal" program organized by the Cooperative Department, Government of Bihar at Deep Narayan Singh Regional Cooperative Management Institute, Shastri Nagar, Patna. On this occasion, he flagged off an LED-equipped promotional vehicle for the promotion of the schemes of the Cooperative Department. Along with this, information about the schemes was also made available to the farmers through street plays.

PATNA---------------------------Cooperative Minister Dr. Prem Kumar inaugurated the "Kisan Sahakari Chaupal" program organized by the Cooperative Department, Government of Bihar at Deep Narayan Singh Regional Cooperative Management Institute, Shastri Nagar, Patna. On this occasion, he flagged off an LED-equipped promotional vehicle for the promotion of the schemes of the Cooperative Department. Along with this, information about the schemes was also made available to the farmers through street plays.
Cooperative Chaupal will be organized in selected PACS and trade boards of all the districts of North Bihar. PACS representatives, farmers, local public representatives and departmental officials will participate in it.
Through these Chaupals, farmers will be directly informed about various schemes of the Cooperative Department such as food grain procurement, crop assistance scheme, common service center, PACS computerization, storage facility, primary vegetable producer cooperative society, milk, weavers, fisheries and beekeeper committee.
On this occasion, Minister Dr. Prem Kumar said, "Strength of cooperatives is the basis of the progress of farmers. It is our priority to make the schemes of the department reach the people. The state government will honor the PACS doing good work." He informed that the Cooperative Department has invited applications under the Chief Minister Adarsh PACS Incentive Scheme 2025-26. Under this, 3 PACS from each district and 3 PACS at the state level will be awarded.
On this occasion, Secretary of Cooperative Department Dharmendra Singh, Registrar Anshul Agarwal, Additional Secretary Abhay Kumar Singh, Additional Registrar Prabhat Kumar and many other officers were present. Also, D.N. Singh Regional Cooperative Management Institute Director Dr. K.P. Ranjan and all the PACS Presidents of Patna district attended the program. PACS Presidents and officers of other districts of the state joined through video conferencing..
