ARA--------------------------After the renovation of the ancient Kund Sarovar situated at the famous Dham Bahri Mahadev Dham situated at some distance from the Piro subdivision headquarters, the Kund (Sarovar) Vivah program was completed here amidst Vedic chanting in a grand ceremony. A crowd of devotees gathered here to participate in the Vivah Mahotsav. Devotees from Buxar, Rohtas and Kaimur districts also arrived to participate in this program. During this religious ritual organized under the supervision of Kiran Upadhyay, Chairperson of Piro Municipal Council, all the rituals of marriage were performed according to the religious rites of the ancient Kund (Sarovar) amidst musical Vedic chanting by the priests who came from Kashi, the city of Lord Shiva. During this time, the surrounding atmosphere remained joyful due to the wedding songs, bhajans sung by women and chanting of the priests. After the marriage, the priests duly performed Jalabhishek of Lord Shiva with melodious mantras. JDU's state general secretary Manoj Upadhyay attended the event with his wife as the host. However, during this time, the devotees had to face some trouble due to the intermittent rain. But despite this, a large number of devotees, drenched in faith, remained engrossed till the program was over. On this occasion, arrangements for Mahaprasad were made for ten thousand devotees. There was a queue of devotees till late evening to receive the Prasad. On the occasion, many other dignitaries including Satyendra Upadhyay, Pappu Singh, Chhotu Singh, Rajan Rai, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Santan Singh, Awadhesh Kumar Singh, Rahul Kumar, Amarjeet Yadav, Deepak Singh, Bholu Singh, Gaurav Tiwari, Ajay Yadav, Ranjan Yadav, Satyendra Yadav, Krishna Singh, Anjani Tiwari, Rajiv Singh, Ankush Singh, Shubham Singh and Shambhu Yadav and a large number of Shiva devotees were present.
