CM’S ANNOUNCEMENT IS FALSE DUE TO THE NGELIGENCE OF THE DM, SDM AND CS

18-DEC-ENG 4

RAJIV NAYAN AGRAWAL

ARA-------------------------If the hospital is operated efficiently, 50 villages will benefit, and people will not have to go to Ara or Jagdishpur. Today, at the Dr. Naveen Chandra Ramgoolam Additional Health Center in Harigaon, it was announced that if 24-hour doctor, nurse, medicine, ambulance, testing, and delivery services are not available by December 2025, a massive protest will be held on January 4, 2026.

On February 16, 2025, during the Progress Yatra, the Honorable Chief Minister of Bihar, Shri Nitish Kumar, inaugurated the Additional Health Center, built at a cost of crores of rupees, named after the Honorable Prime Minister of Mauritius, Dr. Naveen Chandra Ramgoolam.

After the inauguration, the Honorable Chief Minister announced that this hospital would have 24/7 availability of doctors, nurses, medicines, ambulances, and testing facilities, and deliveries would be conducted there.  He said that people from the surrounding 50 villages would not have to go to Ara or Jagdishpur, but all health-related services would be available here. However, today, this announcement is proving to be empty promises.

It has been decided that if all the arrangements are not made according to the Honorable Chief Minister's announcement by the end of December 2025, a protest will be held on January 4th in the premises of the Dr. Naveen Chandra Ramgoolam Additional Health Center.

I also sat on a protest 15 days ago and submitted a memorandum to the Honorable Chief Minister through the SDM of Jagdishpur, sent letters to the DM and CS, and raised the issue several times, but no positive action has been taken to date.

During the decision-making process, dozens of people were present, including Tuna Chaubey (Mukhiya of Harigaon Panchayat), Nayak Singh, Manjay Singh, Virendra Singh, Harendra Gupta, Sudarshan Singh, Rajkumar Singh, Veer Bahadur Singh, Shri Bhagwan Singh, Raju Yadav, Surendra Singh, Vimlesh Pandey, Ravi Pandey, Videshi Singh, Jwala Singh, Umesh Singh, Mantu Singh, Dabbu Thakur, Jitendra Singh, Rohit Pandit, and Ganesh Ram.
