BUXAR----------------------An important event was held on Monday at Bharat Plus Ethanol Private Limited in Nawanagar, Buxar district, where Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary conducted a detailed inspection of the plant. Upon their arrival at the plant premises, CMD Ajay Singh welcomed both guests and gave a presentation on the key aspects of the ethanol production process, current capacity, and future prospects.

During the inspection, CMD Ajay Singh informed the Chief Minister that the ethanol supply order issued by the state government is only 50 percent of the plant's total capacity. The low supply is affecting production, which is not only increasing pressure on financial operations but also threatening the future of the entire industry.

In this regard, he submitted a formal memorandum to the Chief Minister, demanding an increase in the supply order to match the plant's actual capacity. He stated that if corrective measures are not taken soon, the ethanol industry in Bihar could be adversely affected.

The plant employees also expressed their concerns about job security and future uncertainty. They submitted a joint application signed by all employees to the Chief Minister. The employees said that the reduced supply orders are leading to decreased production and unstable operating conditions, which is jeopardizing their employment. They urged the government to restore the supply to the plant's full capacity.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar listened attentively to the concerns of the plant management and employees and assured them that the government would consider the matter on a priority basis. He said that promoting the ethanol industry in the state is among the government's top priorities and necessary steps would be taken soon.

This surprise inspection by the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister is considered significant for the ethanol production sector. The Bihar government is continuously working on new policies and facilities to strengthen the industry. In light of Bharat Plus Ethanol Private Limited's request, the industry is now closely watching the government's upcoming decisions.
