To fulfill his resolve to provide government jobs and employment to maximum number of youth in Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has made another big announcement today. Before the Bihar assembly elections, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has made a big announcement for teachers and has announced the implementation of domicile policy in teacher recruitment. After its implementation, now the candidates of the state will be given priority in the teacher recruitment process in Bihar. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has announced this through a post on the social media platform X. There was a demand for implementing domicile policy in government jobs in Bihar for a long time, which the Chief Minister has fulfilled today.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has written in his post that since the formation of the government in November 2005, we have been continuously working to improve the education system. A large number of teachers have been appointed to strengthen the education system. The education department has been directed to make necessary amendments in the relevant rules to give priority to the residents of Bihar (domicile) in the recruitment of teachers. "Along with this, Nitish Kumar said in his post that it will be implemented from TRE-4 itself. TRE-4 will be conducted in the year 2025 and TRE-5 in the year 2026. Instructions have also been given to conduct STET before the conduct of TRE-5.
The local youth of Bihar will get the benefit of domicile policy in teacher appointment. Under this, now the youth of the state will be given priority in teacher recruitment in Bihar and the youth of Bihar will be given preference over the youth coming from other states.
