PATNA-----------------------------Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's announcement of giving a grant scheme of ₹ 2 lakh to women has filled new energy in the state's politics and society. Regarding this scheme, Acharya Dr. Rahul Parmar, JDU's state secretary and member of the advisory committee, said that the Chief Minister has given the biggest gift of economic empowerment to half the population of Bihar.

Dr. Parmar described it as a "historic decision" and said that Nitish Kumar's entire political life has been dedicated to empowering women, the poor and the deprived sections. He said, "The Chief Minister started the cycle scheme for girls, while giving reservation gave them strong participation in panchayat and municipal body politics. Now the grant scheme of ₹ 2 lakh will give a new direction to make them self-reliant. This scheme will become the axis of social and economic development of women in Bihar." Acharya Dr. Rahul Parmar explained in detail that the schemes laid by Nitish Kumar in the last two decades have changed the face of Bihar's development today—Cycle Scheme and Poshak Yojana: Showed the way to school to lakhs of girls. Women's Reservation: 50% reservation in Panchayat and Urban Body elections wrote a new chapter of political empowerment. Dr. Parmar believes that this scheme will have a direct impact on the 2025 assembly elections. He said that when half of Bihar's population will get such a big economic security and opportunity, it will further strengthen Nitish Kumar's popularity. "Nitish Kumar is the creator of modern Bihar. This step for women will get him decisive support in the coming elections."

Acharya Dr. Rahul Parmar said that the development of Bihar is possible only when women are self-reliant. This scheme will give new heights to their enterprise, education and self-employment. He expressed confidence that under the leadership of the Chief Minister, Bihar will be counted among those states of the country where women power will become the biggest axis of development.
