CIP(ML) WROTE A LETTER TO THE CEC DEMANDING A DRAFT LIST

ARA-------------------------CPIML State Secretary Comrade Kunal has today written a letter to the Chief Election Officer (CEO) of Bihar, requesting that the booth-wise list of dead, permanently migrated and missing voters drafted after 26 July 2025, after SIR under the ongoing voter revision process in the state, along with complete addresses, be made available to the party immediately.

Comrade Kunal has said in the letter that in this regard, lists are being sent by the administration from some districts, but there are many types of ambiguities in them. There are only numbers in it, which makes it difficult to do any kind of clear analysis or confirmation. In such a situation, we demand a consolidated list at the state level, so that we can correctly evaluate the situation.

He also informed that the party has decided to run the 'Booth Chalo Abhiyan' from 1 August 2025. This campaign will run for a week, in which the focus will be on the whole of Bihar and especially on those assembly constituencies where the party is preparing for the upcoming elections.

Comrade Kunal said that under this campaign, all the MLAs, leaders, workers and supporters of the party will visit every booth in their respective areas. We want to see how many irregularities are there in the voter list, which names have been removed, and in which areas the rights of voters are being violated.

He appealed to the Election Commission to take necessary steps to maintain transparency and dignity of the democratic process in this matter and provide necessary information to the party and other political parties on time.
