BHABHUA-------------------------A grand and inspiring ceremony was held at the Buniyaad Centre in Chainpur, Kaimur district, to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The Assistant Director of the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities attended the event as the chief guest. During the event, individuals with disabilities showcased their talents in various fields, from sports to cultural activities. The primary objective of the event was to unleash their inherent creativity and boost their self-confidence. The center organized various competitions, including sports, painting, essay writing, music, and cultural performances. The participants participated enthusiastically and captivated the audience with their excellent performances. During the event, the Assistant Director not only closely inspected the facilities and training activities available at the Buniyaad Centre, but also directly interacted with individuals with disabilities and their parents. He provided detailed information about various welfare schemes run by the state government, so that more and more people can benefit from them. The Assistant Director and other guests honored the participants and winners who excelled in the competition with certificates, shawls, and medals. The faces of the differently-abled were filled with joy upon receiving the honor. Addressing the ceremony, the Assistant Director said, "Disabled people are an integral part of society. The government is continuously committed to their empowerment, education, skill development, and self-reliance. Such programs play an important role in bringing out their hidden talents."
At the end of the program, local public representatives, disabled people, and their families present pledged to support the overall development of disabled people with the message of "Inclusive Society – Everyone's Right."
