According to the information, the police team led by SHO Sanjay Kumar Sinha conducted a vehicle checking campaign near Banjhu Dera.
During the investigation, an attempt was made to stop a Pulsar bike without a number plate coming from Noniyadera. On seeing the police, the bike riders started running away, but taking immediate action, the police chased and caught both of them. When the documents related to the bike were asked, both of them could not give any satisfactory answer. After this, the police seized the bike and investigated it on the basis of engine and chassis number. The investigation revealed that the bike was stolen about two years ago from Katras police station area of Dhanbad district of Jharkhand. Bike owner Govardhan Tudi, father Biren Tudi also confirmed this and told that after the theft, an FIR was lodged in Katras police station. Both the arrested accused have been identified as Chandan Kumar alias Golu, resident of Raghunathpur Bal village of Karakat police station area and Santosh Kumar, resident of Devgana village of Daawat police station area. Both were sent to jail after completing the necessary action. Police chief Sanjay Kumar Sinha said that the recovery of the stolen bike and the arrest of the accused is a big achievement of the police. This action will curb criminal incidents and the general public's trust in the police will be strengthened further.
