Police has arrested a criminal in Buxar for demanding one crore rupees extortion from a Merchant Navy Kain. He has been identified as Karan Singh, a resident of Dulhapur of Simri police station.

BUXAR-----------------------Police has arrested a criminal in Buxar for demanding one crore rupees extortion from a Merchant Navy Kain. He has been identified as Karan Singh, a resident of Dulhapur of Simri police station. Amit Kumar Pandey, a resident of Buxar City Police Station, had informed that the victim had received extortion threats on phone in the name of an unknown person. After which the police expanded the scope of investigation and arrested him. City Police Station In-charge Manoj Kumar Singh said that a criminal case has been recovered from the accused's mobile, which the police is investigating. Efforts are being made to gather more information by interrogating the arrested accused.
