ARA------------------------The impact of the drive is rapidly becoming visible. In this context, concrete action is being taken to streamline the city's system and relieve the public of daily problems, especially traffic jams. On Tuesday, the Ara Municipal Corporation launched a massive anti-encroachment drive in major commercial and crowded areas, such as Syndicate, Sheesh Mahal Chowk, and Sabji Gola. During the drive, the goods of those who had illegally encroached were confiscated.

As soon as the bulldozers made their presence felt in these areas, a commotion and panic broke out among traders and shopkeepers. The owners of shops and carts illegally spread on the streets were thrown into a panic. The traders, taking swift action, began removing their illegally installed counters, advertising boards, and goods scattered on the road themselves to avoid administrative action.

At the same time, some establishment owners attempted to obstruct the action, resulting in minor altercations and commotion at the campaign site. However, the district administration had ensured the deployment of adequate police force to deal with any untoward situation, and the resulting temporary chaos was quickly brought under control.

The promptness of police and administrative officials ensured that the campaign was successfully completed without any major disruptions or interruptions. During this period, administrative officials sent a clear message to encroachers and the general public that any form of illegal occupation of public roads would not be tolerated.

The District Magistrate has directed the Urban Management Unit to identify and take strict action against those violating the rules in the public interest and to keep the follow-up team actively engaged.
