On the occasion of World Disability Day, an example of humanity was witnessed in Dumraon when a group of youth, led by Swachhata Abhiyan brand ambassador Ajay Rai, went door-to-door to meet abandoned and helpless disabled people struggling with the increasing cold.

By providing blankets, the team not only provided warmth but also conveyed a unique message of social sensitivity.

The smiles that lit up the faces of the disabled people upon receiving the blankets spoke for themselves of the success of this initiative. The early December cold has already begun to wreak havoc, increasing the difficulties faced by the poor, destitute, and disabled.

Recognizing this situation, Ajay Rai and his young team are continuously distributing blankets.

Ajay Rai stated that they are striving to ensure that no one in the area who needs it is affected by the cold. He added that the severity of the cold is increasing rapidly. "In such a situation, it is our responsibility to help the poor and helpless disabled brothers and sisters," he said. "Our team is circulating the area day and night, identifying those who need the most assistance."

This humanitarian initiative by Ajay Rai has become a topic of discussion from social media to local streets. People are praising his vision and dedication. It is reported that this is not the first time Ajay has led such a campaign.

He has previously distributed blankets to destitute, elderly, and disabled people living at railway stations, footpaths, and various public places.

Senior social workers Pawan Keshari, alias Bully Ji, Abhishek Ranjan, Rahul Suryavanshi, and Shubham Rai, along with several other young people, played key roles in this noble cause. Wherever this group of young people reached, they lit a new ray of hope. Ajay Rai's initiative proves that bringing about positive change in society requires neither great power nor a large platform; all it takes is a sensitive heart and a spirit of service.
