DELHI-----------------------Bihar's most wanted gangster, Ranjan Pathak, was killed along with his associates in a joint operation between Bihar and Delhi Police. In a joint operation conducted by the Bihar Police and Delhi Police, a notorious gangster from Bihar, Ranjan Pathak was killed along with his associates. In a joint operation in Rohini, Delhi, the police carried out a major encounter, killing four notorious gangsters from Bihar.

In this encounter, the gang leader Ranjan Pathak, Aman Thakur, Manish Pathak, and Vimlesh Mahato were killed. It is reported that all but Aman Thakur were residents of Sitamarhi. According to information received, they were planning a major crime during the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, but the police eliminated them before that could happen.

Ranjan Pathak's notorious company, Sigma & Company, had carried out several major crimes in Sitamarhi. It is said that this gang extended to the border of Bihar and Nepal. Ranjan Pathak was the leader of this gang, which was involved in crimes such as extortion, contract killings, and arms supply in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Jharkhand.
