PATNA---------------------------Once again news has come out of a senior leader receiving death threats in Bihar. This time the target is the state's Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary. He has been threatened with death by an unknown person through phone calls and messages. Let us tell you that earlier Union Minister Chirag Paswan and Rajya Sabha MP Upendra Kushwaha were threatened.

Death threat to Deputy Chief Minister: This incident adds another serious chapter to the ever-increasing threat incidents in Bihar. In recent months, many leaders have received similar calls and threatening messages. However, in previous incidents, the police have arrested many criminals and sent them to jail.

Quick action after receiving threat: According to the information, Samrat Choudhary's worker received a threatening call. In which it was said that "I will shoot Samrat Chaudhary within 24 hours, I am telling the truth." His security team immediately took the matter seriously and informed Patna Police about it. After this, the security agencies started the preliminary investigation of the mobile number 6367263657.

Name 'Vikram Yadav' seen on Truecaller: In the preliminary investigation, this number was found registered in the name of Vikram Yadav on the Truecaller app. However, it is not clear whether this name is real or fake. Police is now investigating in this direction as well.

Police investigation intensified: Taking this matter seriously, Patna Police has started the process of tracking the identity and location of the person who threatened. According to officials, they are scrutinizing the SIM details, call detail record (CDR) and location data of that number. Police believes that the exact location of the mobile can be the key to reach the accused.

"We have received information about threats to Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and we are conducting a technical investigation into it." - Diksha, Central SP, Patna

Written complaint not received so far: The SP also said that no formal written complaint has been lodged in this case so far. He said that a written complaint is mandatory for a serious investigation. As soon as the complaint is received, the police will take further action quickly.

Preparation for action: At present, the priority of the police is to identify and arrest the person who threatened. The accused is being traced soon on the basis of technical evidence. However, the legal process cannot be fully started until a formal complaint is lodged.

Fear of police is over: This incident once again raises questions on the security arrangements of leaders and the preparations of the police towards threats received through digital medium. Now all eyes are on the investigation of Patna Police and possible arrest.
