ARA--------------------------27 women's teams from different states participated in the National Tennis Ball Competition held at Rajesh Pilot Stadium, Dausa, Rajasthan. Today, the Bihar women's team played against the Maharashtra women's team. Captain Muskan of the Bihar women's team won the toss and elected to bat first. The opening pair of Captain Muskan and Vice-Captain Priyanshi Rani led the batting charge. The two batsmen put on an unbeaten 72-run partnership, giving the team a strong position. Batting for Bihar, Muskan scored an unbeaten 31 runs and Priyanshi Rani contributed an unbeaten 30 runs. Chasing the target, the Maharashtra team could only manage 22 runs after losing four wickets. Bowling for Bihar, Varsha took two wickets for 10 runs in one over. Shreya Sahani took one wicket by giving 6 runs in one over. Thus Bihar defeated Maharashtra by 50 runs. Bihar Tennis Ball Cricket Association Secretary Javed Anwar and Hariom were present during the match. This information was given by Bihar Women's Team Manager cum Coach Kumar Vijay.
