BHOJPUR SP INSPECTED THE NIGHT PATROL TEAM

ARA--------------------------The Superintendent of Police of the district inspected the night patrol team near Dhobi Ghatwa (Anaith) area under Ara Nawada police station area. This inspection took place late at night when the police team was on patrol in the area. SP sir suddenly arrived and took stock of the functioning of the police station patrol vehicles and the policemen deployed on duty.

During the inspection, SP sir talked to the officers and jawans posted on duty and gave them necessary guidelines to control criminal incidents in the area. He told all the policemen to be alert, vigilant and sensitive while performing their duty. He also said that every suspicious activity should be monitored during night patrol and people roaming without any reason should be questioned.

Along with this, the vehicles of the common people passing through the road at night were checked. The policemen stopped the vehicles and checked the necessary documents and also gave suggestions related to security to the people. Passers-by and drivers were told to immediately inform the nearest police station or police control room about any suspicious person or activity.

SP said that the main objective of night patrolling is to make people feel the presence of police, create fear in criminals and assure security to the general public. He also said that negligence or lethargy during patrolling at night will not be tolerated at any cost.

This inspection of the Superintendent of Police is being considered an important initiative towards further improving law and order in the district. On one hand, while this inspires policemen to be vigilant towards their duties, on the other hand, common citizens also have the confidence that the police is always ready for their safety.

It was also told by the police department that such surprise inspections will be done regularly in the coming days, so that crime can be curbed in the district and peace and order can be maintained.
