BHOJPUR POLICE IN THE HEADLINES: THREE ENCOUNTERS IN FOUR MONTHS

ARA-----------------------Bhojpur Police has come into full action mode against criminals. The police is not going to spare the criminals at any cost. In recent months, it has been in the headlines for its activism. Three stories of encounters in four months are telling something similar. Let us tell you that on the morning of March 10, while chasing the criminals running away after looting Tanishq in Ara, the police had an encounter with the robbers. During that time, two criminals were arrested after being shot. A bag containing looted jewelry and weapons were also recovered from them. Both were residents of Vaishali district. The encounter took place near Babura and Bindgaon of Badhara police station area.

Just 18 hours before that incident, on the evening of March 9, two criminals including the notorious Chhotu Mishra, who were running away after shooting a property dealer in Jagdishpur area, were arrested after an encounter. Both were caught after being shot during the encounter. Both were shot in the leg. However, Chhotu Mishra died three days later. About ten months before that incident, on June 7, 2024, there was an encounter between the criminals who were running away after committing robbery between Kathrai and Siyadih villages of Charpokhari police station area. During that time three criminals were arrested. All three were running away after committing robbery in Jagdishpur area.

On the morning of April 2, 2024, two criminals who were running away after committing murder in Udwantnagar area were caught after an encounter. In the encounter, two criminals were injured by bullets. The incident took place on the morning of April 2. What happened was that Ramadhar Singh, a resident of Raghunipur village of Udwantnagar police station area, was harvesting wheat crop with his sons. Then Ramadhar Singh and one of his sons were shot dead by his opponents. Both of them died in that. Later, while running away, the criminals also fired on the police. The police retaliated under the leadership of Pramod Kumar Yadav, who was then SP. In that, two criminals were arrested after being shot. Similarly, on the morning of 10 April 2023, a criminal who was running away after looting was arrested after an encounter in the Nagar police station area. All the money looted was also recovered from him. During the encounter, that criminal and a jawan were also shot. Let us tell you that then the owner of a petrol pump had gone to deposit money in the bank located next to the Nagar police station with his staff. Then his money was looted by the criminals. When the police chased, the criminals started firing. At that time also a criminal was arrested by the police while firing in retaliation.
