Two country-made pistols and a bike used in the murder, along with two live cartridges have been recovered. Two non-bailable accused wanted in the murder case have also been arrested. These include Guddu Kumar, son of Mahendra Prasad, resident of Jawahar Tola of Nawada police station area and Rajnikant Gautam, son of Devendu Pandey, resident of Karman Tola.

ARA--------------------------The police has got a big success in the murder of Sumit Kumar Singh, a resident of Mahavir Tola of city police station area. Two country-made pistols and a bike used in the murder, along with two live cartridges have been recovered. Two non-bailable accused wanted in the murder case have also been arrested. These include Guddu Kumar, son of Mahendra Prasad, resident of Jawahar Tola of Nawada police station area and Rajnikant Gautam, son of Devendu Pandey, resident of Karman Tola.
Both were caught near Gangi in the night. The arrest of the accused and recovery of weapons have been done on the information of accused Deepak Kumar and Sagar Kumar who were taken on remand. According to the police, both the pistols used in the murder were recovered from a bush located in Dharhara, while the bike was recovered from the city police station area of Buxar on Thursday. SP Raj issued a press statement on Friday confirming the arrest of the accused and the recovery of weapons and bike.
It was told that the two main accused of the murder, Deepak Kumar and Sagar Kumar, surrendered in the court on Thursday. On the orders of the court, both are being questioned on three-day remand. During interrogation, both confessed to the murder and gave information about two other accused involved in the incident. On their information, both were arrested on Thursday night under the leadership of SHO Devraj Rai and two pistols and a bike used in the murder were recovered. At present, both are being questioned about the main reasons for the murder. The SP said that raids are also being conducted to arrest the third named accused in the murder.
On the night of September 5 (Friday), criminals shot and killed Sumit Kumar Singh in Mahavir Tola Road of Nagar police station area. He was shot twice from a very close distance. Sumit Kumar Singh was originally a resident of Farhada village of Badhara police station area. On the complaint of Sumit Kumar Singh's father Tarakeshwar Singh, an FIR has been lodged against three named and two unknown persons for the murder. Deepak Kumar, son of Shiv Balak Prasad, resident of Jawahar Tola of Nawada police station area, Uttam Kumar alias Bambam, son of late Ramswaroop Ram and Sagar, resident of Rassi Bagan Mohalla were made accused in it. Since then, the police under the leadership of the station in-charge were conducting raids to arrest the accused. Warrants were also received against the three on Wednesday. Meanwhile, on Thursday, both the main accused Deepak Kumar and Sagar Kumar surrendered. After that, the police is interrogating them by taking them on remand.
