ARA-------------------------Nawada police arrested two absconding accused in the Khatal operator murder case. Police arrested one of them in Bhakura village, Mufussil police station area, and the other in Anaith Mohalla, Nawada police station area. Police also recovered the bike used in the murder and the T-shirt worn at the time of the incident. The arrested accused include Rakesh Pratap Singh alias Chutkule Singh, son of Kedar Singh, a resident of Anaith Mohalla, Nawada police station area, and Nikhil Singh, son of Hareram Singh, a resident of Bhakura village, Mufussil police station area.

According to police, both are non-bailable accused. Their names surfaced during the investigation. Superintendent of Police Raj disclosed this information on Wednesday. According to police, Kedar Singh, father of accused Rakesh Pratap Singh alias Chutkule Singh, had sold land to the deceased Shivji Yadav a few years ago, for which he was owed two lakh rupees. Rakesh Pratap Singh alias Chutkule Singh has confessed to the police that he committed the murder over the same outstanding money.

According to the police, Nikhil Singh was identified by his T-shirt in the CCTV camera installed in the market and was arrested. During interrogation, he also admitted to Rakesh Pratap Singh alias Chutkule Singh's involvement in the murder, after which the police arrested Rakesh Pratap Singh alias Chutkule Singh. During interrogation, Rakesh Pratap Singh alias Chutkule Singh revealed that he first strangled the Khatal operator Shivji Yadav to death, and then stabbed him in the chest, neck, and eyes with a bike key.

It should be noted that Shivji Yadav, son of the late Lutawan Yadav alias Salutav Yadav, a resident of Sevgar village in the Udwantnagar police station area and Khatal operator, was stabbed to death with a sharp weapon near the pond located at the Bahiro Gas Agency in the Nawada police station area, and his body was thrown away. The deceased had been stabbed eight times on his left chest and neck with a sharp weapon, and a wound mark was found on his left wrist. Following this, an FIR was filed by the deceased's son, Ranjan Kumar, against unknown individuals.
