BHOJPUR POLICE ARRESTED THREE MISCREANTS

ARA---------------------------An FIR was lodged with the police under Nawada police station against two cousin brothers and two unnamed persons in connection with firing and injuring a pantry car employee near a hotel at Private Bus Stand. The police, after institution of FIR, at once arrested the named both the cousin brothers and also arrested the injured Dhiraj Mishra alias Rakesh Mishra who is also wanted in a case. The injured were admitted to a private nursing home at Ara where both of them are undergoing treatment under police custody. The arrested cousin brothers were identified as Suraj Kumar son of Santosh Prasad and Badal Kumar son of Sanjeev Prasad.

Quoting the FIR, the SHO Nawada police station Bipin Bihari said that Rakesh Kumar Mishra alias Dhiraj Kumar Mishra, pantry car employee was a resident of Sonbarsha village under Karnamepur police station in Bhojpur district and lived in a rented house at New Karman Tola for the last three years. In the late evening when he went to a hotel at Private Bus Stand to have meal, when four persons Suraj Kumar , Badal Kumar and two others came there on a motorcycle and parked the motorcycle just in front of him and Suraj Kumar took out his pistol and shot at and injured him and as a result he fainted. Aftergaining consciousness, he went to the Ara Sadar Hospital. An FIR was lodged with the police under Nawada police station on the statement of Rakesh Kumar Mishra alias Dhiraj Kumar Mishra against Suraj Kumar, Badal Kumar and two others. Rakesh Kumar Mishra alias Dhiraj Kumar Mishra said that on June 2, 2025 someone had stabbed Badal Kumar and injured him and he was implicated in the FIR in this case. Both the brothers took revenge.

The SHO further said that the police after institution of FIR, the police arrested both the cousin brothers and are also conducting raids to arrest the rest miscreants. The police also arrested the injured Rakesh Kumar Mishra alias Dhiraj Kumar Mishra from New Karman Tola locality. Rakesh Kumar Mishra alias Dhiraj Kumar Mishra had criminal history and he had been a named accused in the murder of a person under Ara town police station area in the year 2021.
