BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST ONE MISCREANT FOR SHOOTING AT A TRUCK DRIVER

ARA-------------------------Bhojpur police arrested a miscreant from his house in the night on June 7, 2025 and also recovered a motorcycle from hm in connecting with shooting a truck driver three days ago at Koyal village under Charpokhari police station in Bhojpur district and sent him to jail after interrogation. The arrested miscreant was identified as Sanjay Sao son of Lalan Sao of Bihata village under Imadpur police station in Bhojpur district. Illicit relation was said to be the cause behind the incident. Police are conducting raids to arrest the second miscreant in this regard.

Bhojpur SP Mr. Raj, in a press release said that some miscreants had shot at and injured a truck driver Amrendra Kumar Singh in the morning on June 4, 2025 near Koyal village under Charpokhari police station when he was going to his village Jagjiwanapur after unloading the sand at Dhokaraha Sand Ghat under Imadpur police station and a named FIR was lodged with the police under Charpokhari police station against two persons in this regard. After institution of FIR, the police had swung into action and acting on a tip off, arrested one of the named accused Sanjay Sao from his house at Bihata village under Imadpur police station. The SP said that during interrogation, Sanjay Sao confessed his involvement in the firing. It was also revealed that Sanjay Sao had an illicit relation with the wife of the truck driver Amrendra Kumar Singh and he wanted to keep her with him. Sanjay Sao had once fled away with his wife. Amrendra Kumar Singh had protested and rebuked Sanjay Sao and in retaliation, Sanjay Sao shot at and injured Amrendra Kumar Singh.
