BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST A SMUGGLER WITH 12 Kg OF MAJIJUANA

ARA----------------------------Bihiya police station achieved a major success on Thursday. A police team arrested a smuggler with 12 kg of marijuana in Kharauni Mouza, located in Belauna Kharauni village, within the police station area. During a search, police recovered 12 kg 110 grams of marijuana from the village. The arrested smuggler is Ramesh Kumar Prasad, son of Rajendra Prasad, a resident of Teghra village in the Bihiya police station area.

It is reported that police received intelligence that a large quantity of marijuana was hidden and being traded in Kharauni Mouza, located in Belauna Kharauni village. After verifying the information, Bihiya Station House Officer Sanjeev Kumar arrived with the police force and arrested the smuggler, Ramesh Kumar Prasad, while his accomplice escaped. During the search, the police recovered 12 kg 110 grams of ganja from Kharoni Mouza. Bihiya police station chief Sanjeev Kumar said that during interrogation, the smuggler told that the ganja belonged to a person from Masad village. He had hidden it in his mouza. The smuggler was coming to collect it on Thursday. But when he saw the police from a distance, he ran away from there. After this, the police in Bihiya police station have registered an FIR under the NDPS Act against two people including the arrested person. The police are conducting raids to arrest the absconding smuggler.
