ARA----------------------------A meeting was held at the Bhikhari Thakur Cultural Stage located in the local bus stand complex to prepare for the Bhikhari Thakur Rang Jalsa 2025. The meeting was chaired by senior theater artist Sadhana Srivastava and conducted by the founding president, journalist Narendra Singh.
During the meeting, held under the banner of the Bhikhari Thakur Social Research Institute, a review of previous activities was conducted, and it was decided that the entire program would be conducted in the Bhojpuri language. It was also decided that this year's event would primarily focus on Bhikhari Thakur's play "Bidesia". Along with a poets' gathering, traditional songs would be presented on stage, excluding vulgar performances. The story of Domkach and Rah Baba's puja would also be presented on stage. School children would welcome the arriving guests.
The "Folk Artist Bhikhari Thakur Memorial Gate," being constructed at the main entrance of the bus stand with the support of Dr. Jaya Jain, would be inaugurated jointly by the mayor and other dignitaries. The casting work on the cultural stage, being constructed with funds from Legislative Council member Radha Charan Sah alias Seth Ji, would be further beautified. Finally, a tribute was paid to Ram Das Rahi, who carried forward the tradition of Bhikhari Thakur, upon his demise.
Prominent people present at the meeting included Dr. Anil Singh, senior theater artist Ambuj Kumar, Dr. Jaya Jain, Krishna Pratap Singh, journalist Kamlesh Pandey, U.K. Suman, Swami Vikramaditya, Narad Muni Tiwari (teacher), Pritpal Singh, theater artist Ranjan Yadav, Ashok Paswan from the Ram Mandali of the late Ramagya, Dr. R.C. Bhushan, and others.
