BENEFIT OF INCREASED PENSION AMOUNT TRANSFERRED BENEFICIARIES

ARA-----------------------Addressing the beneficiaries present in the program, DM Tanay Sultania shared detailed information of all the six social security pension schemes of the state government and received feedback from the beneficiaries.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar transferred an increased amount of Rs 1263.95 crore to the accounts of more than 1 crore 13 lakh beneficiaries under the Social Security Pension Scheme through DBT during a state-level program organized at 'Sankalp' located at Ek Ane Marg. The program was telecast live in the Collectorate Auditorium of Bhojpur.

Under the six major social security pension schemes in the district, a total amount of Rs 32.27 crore was sent directly to the accounts of 2,88, 292 beneficiaries at the rate of Rs 1100 per beneficiary for the month of July. Addressing the beneficiaries present in the program, DM Tanay Sultania shared detailed information of all the six social security pension schemes of the state government and received feedback from the beneficiaries.

Said that the increased pension amount will make life more comfortable for the elderly, widows and disabled people.

On this occasion, DDC Gunjan Singh, Assistant Director (Disabled), Assistant Director (Social Security), DWO and a large number of pensioners were present.
