BUXAR------------------------The Baboo Rajmohan Singh Memorial Football Tournament is set to begin today at the Jogibeer Baba sports ground in Dharauli village, under the Brahmapur block of the district. The organizing committee has completed all preparations for the tournament, and the ground has been given a grand look.

In this regard, the tournament organizer and social worker Ranjit Kumar Singh alias Phuddu Singh said that the competition will begin today at 12 noon with a formal inauguration. The opening match will be played between the teams of Siwan and Naya Bhojpur, which has generated considerable excitement among the spectators.

He said that, as every year, renowned football teams from various parts of the country are participating in this prestigious tournament. Special attention is being paid to the convenience and safety of the players so that they do not face any inconvenience. There is also a strong possibility of several prominent political figures from the country attending this year's event.

This effort is being made by the main organizer and senior Supreme Court advocate Baboo Manoj Singh to provide a better platform for the hidden sporting talents in rural areas. He said that every possible support will be provided to the players who emerge from here so that they can bring glory to the region in India and abroad.

The organizing committee informed that the final match of the tournament will be played on December 26th. The winning team in the final will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 5 lakhs, while the runner-up team will be given a cash prize of Rs. 2,51,000. On December 27th, a blanket distribution and a grand community feast will be organized at the local Hanumant Kuti Dham on the occasion of the conclusion of the devotional singing program.
