ANTI-SOCIAL ELEMENTS UPROOTED THE BARRICADES OF BIHIA RAILWAY OVERBRIDGE

ARA----------------------After cracks appeared in the super structure of the railway overbridge of Bihiya Nagar located on Bihiya-Bihta State Highway 102, important steps were taken by the administration from the security point of view. Last Friday, iron barriers were installed at both ends of this overbridge. After the installation of these barriers, the movement of heavy and large vehicles passing through the ROB of Bihiya Nagar on Bihiya-Bihta State Highway was completely stopped.

The height of the barrier was kept at 11 and a half feet, due to which the movement of small vehicles was continuing for the time being. However, as soon as the barrier was installed, the movement of sand-laden trucks came to a halt, due to which the local people breathed a sigh of relief from heavy traffic and possible accidents on the road.

Meanwhile, a new challenge has been given to the Bihiya administration. In the darkness of the night, some anti-social elements have uprooted the barricades on the Bihiya railway overbridge. This incident is not only a matter of concern for the administration, but also raises a big question of safety for the lives of local residents.

In such a situation, social activist Lal Bahadur Mahato has demanded the administration to control this situation and take concrete action against anti-social elements.

It is known that after cracks appeared in the super structure of ROB located at Bihiya on Ara-Buxar railway section of Danapur Railway Division, officials of the Engineering Department of Railways had inspected this overbridge. Keeping safety in mind, he had written a letter to the district administration to stop the movement of heavy vehicles for its repair. In the light of the letter, the Bhojpur district administration had issued an order. Only after the said order, the railway administration barricaded both ends of the ROB. And the movement of heavy vehicles on the ROB was banned.
