ANSHU OF NARAYAN WORLD SCHOOL SELECTED FOR CBSE NATIONAL BOXING COMPETITION

SASARAM------------------------------Anshu Kumar, a class 10 student of Narayan World School has been selected for CBSE National Boxing Competition. Now this student will be able to participate in the next national competition.

This news received on the evening of Tuesday, 19th August filled the school family with pride when the news of selection of class 10 student Anshu came.

This rising star of Narayan World School has ensured his place in the national competition by displaying his boxing skills against 480 players in the Under-17 (70-75 kg) weight capacity boxing competition of CBI Eastern Zone Cluster Games held at New Angels Senior Secondary School, Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh. For this competition, Anshu had received training for about a month in Himachal Pradesh Boxing Unit of Sports Authority of India. The school management informed that Anshu has been deeply influenced by the spirit of sports since the beginning of school days and he wants to make boxing his career. Anshu is also continuing his training as a cadet under 42 Bihar Battalion National Cadet Corps Sasaram. Anshu believes that Narayan World School and National Cadet Corps have provided him full support and strength to become an ideal player. Colonel Dharmendra Singh Malik, Commanding Officer of 42 Bihar Battalion National Cadet Corps Sasaram also congratulated Anshu and directed that Anshu be given a sports incentive amount of three thousand rupees on behalf of the battalion. Expressing gratitude to the school family for this achievement, Anshu also pointed out the special affection he received from his parents and the school director Dr. Monica Singh and made it clear that the support of the society is very important for a player.
