Siddharth Singh from Kopwa village in the Dumraon sub-division of Buxar district has brought immense pride to his family and the entire region by becoming a Lieutenant in the Indian Army. Siddharth is the son of Sunil Kumar Singh, General Manager of DBS Automobiles (Tata Motors) Sasaram, and Suman Singh. He successfully completed the prestigious Passing Out Parade held on November 30th at the NDA grounds in Khadakwasla, Pune.

BUXAR-------------------------Siddharth Singh from Kopwa village in the Dumraon sub-division of Buxar district has brought immense pride to his family and the entire region by becoming a Lieutenant in the Indian Army. Siddharth is the son of Sunil Kumar Singh, General Manager of DBS Automobiles (Tata Motors) Sasaram, and Suman Singh. He successfully completed the prestigious Passing Out Parade held on November 30th at the NDA grounds in Khadakwasla, Pune.
Pradeep Kumar Singh alias Prince Singh, a resident of Kopwa village and director of New Brilliant Public School, said that a wave of joy swept through the entire village as soon as Siddharth became a Lieutenant. Siddharth's father Sunil Kumar Singh, mother Suman Singh, elder brother Flight Lieutenant Samarth Singh, and his fiancée Flight Lieutenant Anjuli Singh were present at the parade ceremony. They all witnessed this historic moment with immense pride.
Siddharth was given the responsibility of the 149th Cadet Commander in the parade. He was awarded the President's Silver Medal as well as the honor of being the best sportsman of the passing out course. His father, Sunil Kumar Singh, described this achievement as a tribute to the family's military tradition.
Siddharth said that the NDA training is rigorous and disciplined, which completely prepares a cadet mentally, physically, and academically. He mentioned that he received his schooling at the Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC), Dehradun, where he was also a Cadet Captain. Now he will go to the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun, for one year of pre-commission training, after which he will join the Indian Army as an officer.
Siddharth comes from a family with a strong sense of service and a military background. His elder brother, Samarth Singh, is a fighter pilot in the Indian Air Force. His grandfather, Sita Ram Singh, was the head clerk at DK College, Dumraon. His maternal grandfather, Ram Suresh Singh, retired from the Indian Air Force as a Warrant Officer. His uncle, Anil Singh, is serving in the army as a Subedar. Ashok Singh, NP Singh, Beena Singh, and other family members expressed their happiness at Siddharth's success and wished him a bright future. Siddharth, a son of Kopwa village, is now ready to forge a new identity in the Indian Army.
