BUXAR---------------------------Police arrested an 83-year-old man with an illegal revolver and 11 live bullets from his house at the local intersection in the Brahmapur police station area. After completing the paperwork, he was sent to jail. Station House Officer Brajesh Kumar, co-FIR officer, stated that he received a tip-off last night that Shridev Ojha, a resident of Nimej village in the police station area, was illegally arrested.

An 83-year-old man with an illegal revolver and 11 live bullets was arrested from his house at the local intersection in the Brahmapur police station area.

He currently lives in a house at the Brahmapur intersection. He received a tip-off that he had illegal weapons in his house. After verification, a team was formed under my leadership and a raid was conducted. A drawer was built in the bed where he slept. Inside, a revolver with 11 live bullets was recovered. When questioned, he said he didn't have the license papers yet and that he would provide them in the morning. He was then brought to the police station. The license he submitted was for a gun, which had been canceled on March 30, 2019. He had sold the arms to the Buxar armory. The bullets were hidden. He was also illegally possessing a revolver. After thorough investigation, Shridev Ojha was sent to jail under the Arms Act for possession of a revolver and 11 live bullets.
