PATNA-----------------------------Amidst the ongoing turmoil within the NDA alliance over seat sharing, the BJP has almost finalized its list of candidates. On Monday, 48 candidates were directed to file their nominations. Currently, there is no dispute over these seats, but resentment and tensions within the alliance continue.

The JDU has also begun allocating symbols to its leaders, but Nitish Kumar's displeasure over nine seats remains. This is impacting the alliance's political unity.

According to BJP sources, Assembly Speaker and Patna City MLA Nand Kishore Yadav and Kumhrar MLA Arun Kumar have been denied tickets. Sanjay Gupta has now been asked to contest from Kumhrar.

While Arun Kumar has already announced that he will not contest, Nand Kishore Yadav still intends to contest. Ratnesh Kushwaha is the frontrunner for this seat.

Political analysts say that while the BJP has finalized most of its candidates, differences remain between the JDU and the BJP on some seats. This could raise questions about the alliance's image and electoral strategy.

According to experts, this dispute poses a challenge to the NDA's unity and seat-sharing agreement, and Amit Shah's role in the coming days could prove decisive.
