On December 15, 2025, the Kaimur Civil Court, in the court of ACJM V, Dr. Shail, sentenced Subhash Kumar Gupta, son of Shyam Lal, resident of Nagar Panchayat Hata, Chainpur Police Station, the accused in Chainpur Police Station Case No. 86/2006, to three years of rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 5,000 under Section 25(1-B)a, and three years of rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 5,000 under Section 26.

BHABHUA---------------------------On December 15, 2025, the Kaimur Civil Court, in the court of ACJM V, Dr. Shail, sentenced Subhash Kumar Gupta, son of Shyam Lal, resident of Nagar Panchayat Hata, Chainpur Police Station, the accused in Chainpur Police Station Case No. 86/2006, to three years of rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 5,000 under Section 25(1-B)a, and three years of rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 5,000 under Section 26. The prosecution was represented by Public Prosecutor Shubham Mishra. The case against the accused was filed by the then Station House Officer of Chainpur, Jayashankar Prasad. The accused was charged with concealing an illegal weapon for the purpose of committing criminal activities. The said weapon was recovered during a police raid. The court considered the evidence presented by the prosecution sufficient and found the accused guilty.
