A tragic road accident occurred late Tuesday night in Bihar's Kaimur district. An out-of-control trailer, van, and truck rammed into a hotel near Muthani on the Delhi-Kolkata Highway. A cook working at the hotel died on the spot in the horrific collision, while another person was seriously injured. The incident caused panic in the area.

According to reports, the accident occurred when a trailer loaded with tiles, traveling from Gujarat to Jharkhand, lost control. The speeding trailer first hit a container and a van parked near the hotel, and then all three vehicles rammed into the Radha Krishna Line Hotel. The impact was so severe that the hotel's walls and structure were severely damaged.

The cook who died in the accident has been identified as Sheetal Yadav, a resident of Kashikewal (Jharkhand). The injured man has been identified as Brijesh Chaudhary, a resident of Rohtas. Both were sleeping inside the hotel when the accident occurred. Eyewitnesses reported hearing a loud explosion, and the truck smashed into the hotel and crashed into a nearby field.

Upon receiving information about the accident, a large number of locals rushed to the scene and informed the police. Police from Mohania police station arrived at the scene and brought the situation under control. SI Sanjay Raut stated that the truck went out of control and crashed into the hotel, killing the cook present there. Police acted swiftly and arrested the trailer driver. The body has been sent to Sadar Hospital, Bhabua, for a post-mortem examination, while the injured is undergoing treatment.

The police are currently investigating the incident and trying to determine whether the trailer driver was negligent or if there was a technical fault in the vehicle. This accident has once again highlighted the dangers caused by high speed and carelessness of heavy vehicles on the highway.
