During the review, first of all, the Block Education Officer was directed to check the status of the children enrolled under Dr. Ambedkar Samagra Seva Abhiyan and to verify whether the concerned children are enrolled in the school or not and if enrolled, whether they are also registering their attendance regularly or not. While reviewing the civil works, the District Magistrate directed that all such schools where the construction of additional classrooms is in progress should be completed within the next one month. Also, in such schools where polling stations are proposed, basic facilities like electricity, toilets, ramps, furniture and drinking water should be ensured soon. In the meeting, the District Magistrate directed that the list of such schools should be made available as soon as possible, where there is a possibility of planting more than 200 saplings, so that tree plantation work can be done there under the MNREGA scheme.
