ARA-----------------------------The 27th death anniversary of former CPI-ML General Secretary Comrade Vinod Mishra was observed at Kranti Park, East Nawada, Ara! First, CPI-ML Politburo member Swadesh Bhattacharya hoisted the flag! During this time, floral tributes were offered to the statues of Comrade Vinod Mishra and all the martyrs, and a two-minute silence was observed as a mark of respect! After that, CPI-ML Central Committee member Abhyuday read out the central appeal issued by the party's Central Committee! Addressing the pledge meeting, CPI-ML Politburo member Swadesh Bhattacharya said that from rebuilding and reorganizing our beloved party after the severe setbacks and fragmentation of the early 1970s, to preparing the party to face the challenging period of the growing dangerous attacks of the Sangh-BJP in the 1990s, Comrade Vinod Mishra has handed over to us a magnificent, glorious communist legacy! Under his leadership, the party overcame weaknesses like narrow-mindedness and fundamentalism, crossed all kinds of obstacles, and built broad mass struggles while continuously developing and strengthening its Marxist understanding to comprehend the history and society of India! A vibrant revolutionary framework of party policies was forged, adapting to different fronts and circumstances, which learns from mistakes, draws strength from defeats, and responds to every attack! Addressing the Resolve Day meeting, CPI(ML) Central Committee member Jawaharlal Singh said that the initial electoral successes we achieved in 1989-90 did not last long! The party soon faced several challenges: defection of elected representatives, a decline in popular support, and a fierce backlash from feudal forces! During that period, under the leadership of Comrade VM, the party once again strengthened its organization, forged deeper connections with the people, and advanced its united front policy in opposition politics, bravely confronting these challenges! At this critical juncture, we need to reaffirm this fundamental strength and fighting spirit with even greater resolve!
The recent Bihar elections have once again pushed us back on the winding path of electoral politics! The entire party and all our well-wishers in India and abroad provided full support, and the party conducted the election campaign in Bihar with great enthusiasm and vigor! Yet, in the face of the Modi government's shameless and multi-faceted electoral fraud, we could not preserve the gains we made in the 2020 assembly and 2024 Lok Sabha elections! Our vote share remained almost the same, but the number of seats decreased from 12 to just 2! The party must learn the necessary lessons from this electoral setback and return to the field with renewed strength and full force! The program was conducted by CPI-ML city secretary Sudhir Kumar Singh. Those present included State Committee members Manohar Singh and Qiyamuddin Ansari, Ayodhya Singh, AISA State Secretary Shabbir Kumar, District Office Secretary Dilraj Pritam, District Standing Committee members Jitendra Singh and Rajnath Ram, JSM State President Jitendra Kumar Singh, AISA District President Vikas Kumar, AIPWA City Secretary Sangeeta Singh, Balmukund Chaudhary, Ajay Gandhi, Dina Ji, City Committee members Rajendra Yadav, Harinath Ram, Bablu Gupta, Milton Kushwaha, Roshan Kushwaha, Jayshankar Prasad, Anup Kumar, Santvilas Ram, Kiran Prasad, Mithilesh Kumar, Ritesh Kumar, Krishna Yadav, Dhananjay Singh, and Bhoda Yadav.
