Due to the large crowds of thousands, the area is always under strict police and administrative surveillance.

Just as a separate police station has been established for security and crowd management at Gandhi Maidan in Patna, a separate police station is necessary for the Ramna Maidan in Ara. Sensitive establishments such as markets, educational institutions, hotels, the civil court, the district council office, and the registry office surround the Ramna Maidan, making security and surveillance in this area even more crucial.

Currently, its security is dependent on nearby police stations, which complicates prompt action and efficient management. A separate police station will enable the safe and orderly conduct of events, both large and small, held there.
