SASARAM---------------------------The video of a fierce fight between two parties in broad daylight in the railway station premises of Rohtas district headquarters Sasaram is rapidly going viral on social media. This incident has not only spread panic among the passengers, but has also raised serious questions on the security arrangements of the railway premises.

The incident took place in the station premises, which is located just a short distance from the GRP station. Despite this, the fact that no official came to know about a serious incident like the fight for hours seems to expose the security arrangements. According to eyewitnesses, the passengers present there had to face a lot of trouble during the fight and there was an atmosphere of chaos.

It can be clearly seen in the video how two youths clash with each other in the middle of the station and the people present there remain spectators. It is natural to raise questions on the absence of GRP deployed for the safety of the passengers. When the GRP inspector was contacted on this matter, he expressed ignorance and said that he had no information about this incident. In such a situation, the question arises whether the GRP security force is really serious about its responsibilities?

This is not the first time that such an incident has come to light at Sasaram railway station. Such incidents every day create a feeling of insecurity in the minds of passengers and raise doubts on the security system of the railways. Now it remains to be seen what action the railway administration and GRP take on this matter after the viral video surfaced and what steps are taken to deal with such incidents in future.
