ARA-----------------------------A grand youth convention on the topic of "The Future of Youth and the Government" was organized by the Revolutionary Youth Association (RYA) Bhojpur District Committee at Kranti Park, Jawahar Tola, Arrah. Hundreds of young people from various blocks of the district participated in this convention.

The main speaker of the convention was RYA National President and former MLA of Dumraon, Ajit Kushwaha. RYA State Secretary and former MLA of Agiaon, Shivprakash Ranjan, was the chief guest at the event.

The convention began with a tribute to Rohit Vemula on his 10th death anniversary. The youth present at the convention expressed their anger against the policies of the double-engine government.

Main speaker Ajit Kushwaha said that the governments of the country and Bihar come to power on the issues of jobs and the future of the youth, but after coming to power, they forget these issues and push the youth towards the politics of hatred. He said that on the issue of Kashmir, even college accreditations are being revoked in the name of communalism, so that a continuous communal atmosphere prevails in the country.

He said that this government wants to destroy the Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb (composite culture). When the National Security Advisor talks about taking revenge for the Somnath temple, the question arises, from whom will the revenge be taken? Muhammad Ghaznavi is not present today, nor is any of his family.

Ajit Kushwaha said that the BJP wants to divert the youth from their legitimate questions—employment, education, and future—through the politics of hatred. He said that it is extremely shameful that the Prime Minister of the country is telling the youth that making reels and selling pakoras is employment. Meanwhile, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has failed to solve the problem of youth unemployment in the last twenty years.

He questioned whether installing the world's largest Shiva Lingam would provide jobs to the youth. The RYA had demanded that unemployed youth be given an unemployment allowance of ₹10,000 per month, but the government is only talking about giving ₹1,000.

He said that in such a situation, the youth of the country will have to take the path of agitation. The question is, who will lead this movement? The RYA is fully prepared to organize the youth and lead this struggle, playing a leading role.

At the convention, RYA State Secretary Shivprakash Ranjan said that the head of the previous government, Nitish Kumar, had promised to provide employment to 20 lakh youth, and in the current elections, a promise of one crore jobs was made. But the government has not yet taken any concrete steps to fulfill these promises.

He said that the Revolutionary Youth Association (RYA) will launch a comprehensive campaign by organizing the youth across Bihar and will launch a major movement on the issue of employment during the upcoming budget session.

At the convention, Rohit Vemula's martyrdom was remembered and tributes were paid to him, and a resolution was passed to intensify the struggle to get justice for the NEET student of Shambhu Hostel in Patna. The convention was conducted by District President Niranjan Kesari.

The prominent people present at the convention included District President Niranjan Kesari, CPI(ML) District Office Secretary Dilraj Pritam, Vishal Kumar, Akhilesh, Harinarayan, Rajesh Kumar Gupta, Amit, Dhirendra Aryan, Appu Kumar Yadav, Imran, Kamlesh, Veer Bahadur, Pintoo Kumar, Kamendra, Anoop, Ranjit Nagendra, Pradeep, and Ajit Paswan.
