Thirty-one personalities were awarded the “Desh Ratna Dr. Rajendra Prasad Memorial Award”

New Delhi (RNI) Thirty-one eminent personalities from various fields were honored with the Desh Ratna Dr. Rajendra Prasad Memorial Award at a grand ceremony held in the capital.
At the annual ceremony organized by the All India Manav Samaj Trust, renowned educationist Prof. R.K. Choudhary, Rajendra Bhavan Director Anil Mishra, former defense personnel K.P.S. Arya, and Mahant Ramkumar Saheb presented the awards. The program was presided over by Dr. Samrendra Pathak, Executive Chairman of the SAARC Journalists Forum. Trust President Hira Lal Pradhan, Delhi Unit President Ranjit Singh, and Supreme Court Advocate Navesh Kumar were also present on the occasion.
According to a press release issued by the Trust, the awardees included Dr. Anil Kumar Jha, former Principal of M.L.S.M. Darbhanga; renowned physicians Dr. Poonam Arya and Dr. B.N. Thakur; social worker Mrs. Kanta Rani; Advocate Rajita Raj; social workers Vimal Chaudhary, Dinesh Shah, Vinay Ranjan Saraswati, Ganesh Mahata, Ravi Shankar Singh, Devendra Arya; Delhi Government Labour Department employee Jaideep; journalist Dr. Ved Prakash; and renowned singer Dhanik Lal Mandal.
The list of 31 honorees also included CA Tilak Das, teacher Ankita Sharma, Dinesh Kumar Lodhi of Chest Clinic, New Delhi, and Lakshmi Narayan of RML.
The program commenced with Vande Mataram, the National Anthem, and Mangalacharan. Singer Dhanik Lal Mandal, singer Shivani, Delhi Doordarshan artist Pt. Pushkar Mishra, and artists from Sahitya Kala Parishad, Delhi Government, presented vibrant cultural performances. L.S.
