PU BECOMES A HUB  FOR BOMB THROWERS

PATNA----------------------------Are Patna University students now writing their future with gunpowder instead of pens? What happened on Tuesday night has shaken the whole of Bihar. A minor dispute over 'harassment' and 'commenting' escalated to such an extent that hostel rooms turned into bomb-making factories.

In the night, around 9 pm, Prince, a student of CV Raman Hostel, was having tea with his girlfriend at Krishnaghat. That's when students from Jackson Hostel made some comments. The argument escalated, a fight broke out, and then the bloody game began! Students from Jackson Hostel went to CV Raman Hostel and unleashed a barrage of bombs and gunfire. Patna University becomes a hub of 'bomb throwers'! Comment on drinking tea with a girlfriend... and then bombs and bullets started flying on campus!

When the police raided the hostels, the officers were stunned by what they saw! What was found at Hathua Hostel was no less than a terrorist hideout: 40 live crude bombs, 174 grams of gunpowder and iron nails, 400 ml of petrol and twine, 125 matchboxes and roll caps, Are these 'students' or criminals? (7 arrested)

The police have arrested these 7 students from Hathua Hostel:

1. Saurabh Kumar 2. Shubham Kumar 3. Mohit Kumar 4. Sumit Kumar 5. Deepak Kumar 6. Pranav Kumar 7. Vivek Kumar.

Along with them, Abhishek Kumar from Jackson Hostel is also in police custody on charges of throwing bombs. About a dozen students are still absconding.

The most shocking thing is that these bombs were made in advance for the Saraswati Puja immersion procession. So, there was a complete plan for violence in the name of faith!

The big question: How long will the Patna University campus continue to be tarnished by such hooligans? The university administration and the police are passing the buck, but the future of the students is at stake.
