ARA-------------------------------The anger of employees erupted at the Punjab National Bank (PNB) Ara Divisional Office. Under the banner of the 'Association of Punjab National Bank Employees' (Bihar State), a large number of bank employees staged a massive protest against the working style of the Human Resources Department and the Divisional Head. After the bank's working hours ended, the employees united and raised strong slogans in the office premises regarding their demands and accused the management of arbitrary actions.

The main allegation of the protesting employees is that the divisional office is completely disregarding the prescribed rules and roster in the transfer and posting process. Union leaders said that there is a lack of transparency in the transfer policy, due to which many employees are being deliberately harassed, while some specific individuals have been posted to their desired branches. This discriminatory attitude has caused deep dissatisfaction among the bank employees.

During the protest, the employees accused the Divisional Head of adopting a dictatorial attitude and mentally harassing the staff. The protesters say that due to continuous harassment, the employees are going through a period of immense mental stress. They allege that lower-level employees are being harassed by the officers without any valid reason, which is making the workplace environment negative.

Given the seriousness of the protest, when Divisional Head Sandeep Dongre was asked for a reaction on the matter, he flatly refused to comment. He said that he cannot give any official statement on this matter at the moment. This silence from the management has further fueled the anger of the protesting employees, who have made it clear that if their demands are not considered sympathetically, the movement will intensify.

The protest included union office bearers as well as dozens of employees from various branches of the Ara division. The employees unanimously demanded that the transfer and posting process be made transparent according to the roster and that the exploitation of employees be stopped immediately. Currently, the tension between the bank management and the employee union persists, which is likely to affect banking services in the coming days.
