BJP DENIED ALLEGATIONS BY CPI(ML) MLA

BUXAR---------------------------A serious dispute has emerged regarding the land at the New Bus Stand Bypass Road in the district headquarters. On one hand, there are allegations of illegal encroachment on ancestral land, forced construction using forged documents, and threats to life and property. On the other hand, BJP leader Pradeep Rai has completely rejected all the allegations, calling it a political conspiracy. The matter has been taken to the district administration and the court, while both sides are confronting each other and leveling sharp accusations.

Former CPI (ML) MLA from Dumraon, Dr. Ajit Kumar Singh, along with Sudama Upadhyay, met with the District Magistrate of Buxar and filed a complaint alleging that BJP leader Pradeep Rai is forcibly occupying and constructing on their ancestral land located behind the petrol pump on the New Bus Stand Bypass Road, using forged documents. According to the victim, the land with account number 71/42, plot number 321/938, and an area of ​​six kathas is their ancestral property, which neither he nor his late father ever sold or transferred. Despite this, Pradeep Kumar Rai and Akhilesh Rai are occupying the land and carrying out construction work.

The victim alleges that in 2016, a forged consent letter was prepared in the name of his mother, who had passed away on November 30, 2013, and her thumb impression was taken, and an illegal sale was shown based on that. A case has been registered in the Civil Court, Buxar, where cognizance has been taken under Sections 467 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code. Despite this, the construction work has not been stopped, and the family alleges that they have been receiving continuous threats to their lives and property since the case was registered. Similarly, Rajnikant Upadhyay, a resident of Sohnipatti, has also accused Pradeep Kumar Rai of forcibly occupying his ancestral land, comprising account number 137/115, plot number 653/485, and an area of ​​17 kathas, located in Lalganj Mauza. He alleges that he is receiving continuous threats for refusing to relinquish the land.

On the other hand, BJP leader Pradeep Rai has strongly refuted all these allegations, calling them baseless. In a telephonic conversation, he said that he is currently outside Buxar and that this is being exploited to deliberately create a hostile environment against him. He clarified that all the documents related to the land in question are completely valid, authorized, and in accordance with the law. He stated that if anyone has any objection, the courts are open to them, rather than resorting to a media trial.

Pradeep Rai accused former MLA Dr. Ajit Kumar Singh of making baseless allegations out of frustration after his defeat in the elections and said that such controversies are being created to save his political career. He issued an open challenge, saying that if they have the courage, they should sit down face-to-face and examine the land documents. He claims that he has no involvement in any kind of illegal occupation, forgery, threats, or forced construction.

Currently, the entire matter is reportedly under consideration in court. On one hand, the victim's family and the former MLA are demanding swift action and security from the administration, while on the other hand, the BJP leader is expressing confidence that the truth will come out in court. The final decision will depend on the court's judgment.
