BUXAR------------------------Keeping public interest paramount, the OPD boycott called by BHASA Buxar has been withdrawn with immediate effect. Following assurances from public representatives and the Civil Surgeon, OPD services have been restored in the district. This decision has brought relief to common patients.
The role of JDU District President Ashok Singh, JDU leader Sanjay Singh, Youth JDU District General Secretary Jitendra Singh, and other public representatives in the restoration of OPD services was commendable. Their positive intervention and efforts facilitated dialogue between the doctors and the administration, which made it possible to resolve the problem. In this regard, Sadar Sub-Divisional Magistrate Avinash Kumar said that the district administration is fully committed to ensuring the safety of health workers in the district. Necessary steps are being taken to ensure the safety of doctors so that such a situation does not arise in the future.
This order is considered effective from 12:40 PM on January 23, 2026. A copy of this has been respectfully submitted to the District Magistrate, Buxar, and the Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Medical Officer, Buxar, for their information.
