The team of Sahar police station of Bhojpur district caught a pickup vehicle during vehicle checking near SH-81. During the investigation, 342.72 liters of foreign liquor, 2 mobiles and GPS tracker loaded on the pickup were recovered. The team arrested two smugglers from the spot. ARA-----------------------The team of Sahar police station of Bhojpur district caught a pickup vehicle during vehicle checking near SH-81. During the investigation, 342.72 liters of foreign liquor, 2 mobiles and GPS tracker loaded on the pickup were recovered. The team arrested two smugglers from the spot. This information was given by Superintendent of Police Raj on Thursday evening.
He said that information was received from the liquor prohibition unit Patna that a large amount of liquor loaded on a pickup is being transported near SH 81 under Sahar police station area. Taking immediate action after the information, Sahar police station started vehicle checking. During the checking, the police seized the pickup.
During the investigation, 2 smugglers were arrested along with 342.72 liters of liquor loaded on the pickup, 2 mobiles and GPS tracker. The SP said that the police is taking further action by registering an FIR against both the arrested smugglers under the Bihar Liquor Prohibition Act.
