ARA---------------------------Piro Block 20-Point Programme Implementation Committee and JDU Block Chairman Akshay Lal Chaudhary has written to the Bhojpur District Magistrate, demanding an investigation into the non-distribution of nutrition to Anganwadi centers under the Integrated Child Development Project (ICDP) last October. In the letter, the 20-Point Programme Chairman alleges that government funds are being embezzled under the Integrated Child Development Project (ICDP) in Piro Block, involving the Child Development Project Officer and related personnel. The letter clearly states that the monthly nutrition funds provided under the ICDP are being embezzled. Nutrition was not distributed to any Anganwadi center last October. He has demanded that the District Magistrate form an impartial investigation team to investigate the allegations. Meanwhile, Piro CDPO Sunita Tiwari and her office staff have dismissed the allegations as baseless and malicious.
