111 UNITS OF BLOOD DONATED VOLUNTARY

ARA-----------------------------On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day on 14 June, Indian Red Cross Society Ara Bhojpur organized a blood donation camp and felicitation ceremony for blood donors.

The program was inaugurated by Dr. P Singh, Patron, Indian Red Cross Society Bhojpur District Unit Ara and President, Indian Medical Association Bhojpur and Dr. Vijay Gupta, Secretary, Indian Medical Association Bhojpur. In his inaugural speech, President, Indian Medical Association Bhojpur expressed gratitude to the blood donors and wished them and said that blood donation is such a great donation that saves many lives. At present, we will also try to cooperate in publicizing blood donation at the administrative and public level, so that the youth can be made aware. Because the largest group of blood donors is of the youth. On this occasion, he also set a target of 100 units of voluntary blood donation today. The program was started by Dr. Vijay Gupta by donating blood.

Addressing today's program, he congratulated the blood donors and also praised the arrangements of the blood bank. He also said that the people who have come here enthusiastically and consciously to donate blood deserve congratulations and this shows their human sensitivity which is very commendable.

On this occasion, a total of 10 boys and girls from the National Service Scheme branch of Maharaja College also donated blood voluntarily. On this occasion, the blood donors who donated blood four times a year from 14 June 2024 to 14 June 2025 were honored by the Red Cross Blood Center by giving mementos and certificates, whose names were as follows - Saurabh Upadhyay, Pulkit Sah, Gaurav Kumar, Rakesh Kumar Singh, Raj Babu Kesari, Narendra Singh, Anshika Anand, and Dr. Jitendra Shukla. On this occasion, the Rotary Club, which donated 96 units last year and the Indian Medical Association, which donated 155 units, were also honored with mementos. In today's program, along with blood donors, members of the Red Cross participated in large numbers. In which, Patron Dr. Dinesh Prasad Sinha, Vice Patron Mr. Sanjeev Gupta, Mr. Pankaj Prabhakar, former Vice Chairman Dr. Nirmal Kumar Singh, Executive Members Mr. Awadhesh Kumar Pandey, Dr. Jitendra Shukla, Dr. Sunita Singh, Mohd Shamshad Prem, Dr. B. P. Singh, Dr. K. K. Singh, Dr. Naresh Prasad, Dr. Vikas Singh, Mr. Kumud Singh, etc. were prominent. Giving special information regarding blood donation on this occasion, Secretary Vibha Kumari informed that this program will run for a whole month starting from 14th June till 13th July in which a total of four blood donation camps will be organized. Today a total of One Hundred Eleven (111) blood donors donated blood voluntarily whose names are as follows- Dr. Vijay Gupta, Dr. Jitendra Shukla, Ravi Singh, Harsh Singh, Ravikant, Sunny Kumar, Ritu Singh, Chandan Kumar, Anju Kumari, Om Prakash Singh, Manoj Kumar Vikas Dubey, Manoj Kumar Pathak, Ramvati Devi, Pinku Kumar, Shailendra Kumar, Golu Kumar, Veer Bahadur Kumar Gaurav, Sonu Kumar Dubey, Raj Babu Kesari, Shubham Kumar, Subhash Kumar, Sunny Kumar, Arihant, Dhananjay Pandey, Saroj Kumar Mishra, Deepak Kumar, Manish Kumar Singh, Arun Kumar Yadav, Saurabh Singh, Harendra Kumar, Praveen Kumar Singh, Kundan Kumar, Hare Ram Singh, Jitendra Singh, Krishna Singh, Ashish Kumar Mishra, Roshan Kumar, Aman Kumar, Shilpi Devi, Gautam Kumar, Punita Kumari, Pooja Kumari, Anjali Kumari, Ajay Kumar, Anand Kumar, Aarti Kumari, Akash Pandey, Shivkumar Prasad, Abhijeet Kumar, Mohammad Kausar Imam and other blood donors were present in the program today. Patron cum Chairman of Blood Donation Committee, Dr. Dinesh Prasad Sinha expressed his gratitude and thanked all the blood donors. The program was conducted by Dr. Vibha Kumari.
