PATNA---------------------------Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived at the Samastipur Rosera Subdivision Stadium on Wednesday to address a gathering, where Legislative Council member Dr. Tarun Kumar honored him with a mace. Upon arrival at the stadium, the NDA candidates present there welcomed him with thunderous chants of "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" and "Jai Shri Ram." Beginning his address, Amit Shah stated that the pace of development in Bihar needs to accelerate. He called for the safety of mothers and sisters and for maintaining law and order. Mr. Shah appealed to the public to vote for the NDA candidates present on the stage. He stated that this election is not about electing someone as an MLA or minister, but rather about preventing jungle raj from returning to Bihar and maintaining a government of development. Amit Shah took a dig at Tejashwi Yadav, saying that the cat that ate a hundred rats and went on Hajj is in the same situation today. Those who were in power yesterday amid a period of murders and kidnappings are now talking about morality. In the 20 years of the NDA government, Naxalism has been eradicated from Bihar, killings and massacres have stopped. Now, schools provide education, hospitals provide medicine, farms receive irrigation, and youth are earning a living. He said that Lalu Prasad Yadav and Sonia Gandhi only dream of making their sons Chief Ministers and Prime Ministers, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar are the people's sons, concerned about the development of the country and Bihar. The Home Minister explained that during Lalu Prasad's tenure, the development budget was only 2.80 lakh crore rupees, whereas under Prime Minister Modi's leadership, Bihar has received development projects worth 18.15 lakh crore rupees. He elaborated on the provision of 5 kg of free food grains to 85.2 million poor people, 6,000 rupees per year to 87 lakh farmers, 4.4 million toilets, health insurance to 3.5 crore people, pure drinking water to 160,000 households, and over 4 lakh crore rupees for flood relief and road and bridge construction. He said that before 2005, murders, robberies, kidnappings, and massacres were rampant in Bihar. Today, there hasn't been a single scam in Bihar in twenty years and eleven years of central government, while during the Lalu-Rabri regime, Bihar was infamous for fodder, tar, flood relief, and sports scams. Attacking Tejashwi Yadav, he said, "Chhote Miyan is a little bit younger, but the elder one is Subhanallah. He has surpassed his father in scams and set a new record in corruption by seizing land in the name of jobs." The Home Minister said that under the Chief Minister's Women's Employment Scheme, tens of thousands of rupees have been deposited into the accounts of 13 million women. He also detailed several schemes, including 125 units of free electricity, 35 percent reservation for women, Patna Metro, pension increase from 400 to 1100, 3,000 rupees for Asha workers, 9,000 rupees for Anganwadi workers, and a mobile allowance. He said that before 2005, during Lalu Prasad Yadav's government, potholes on the roads and donkeys were indistinguishable. But today, four-lane and six-lane roads have transformed Bihar. He said that under Nitish Kumar's leadership, Bihar has accelerated its development. He said that under the NDA government, while talking about the abolition of Article 370, construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, construction of Mother Sita temple in Sitamarhi and development budget of more than two lakh crores, he said that in the next five years Bihar will be in the category of developed states. This time in the elections, NDA has to take it beyond two hundred. On the occasion, MP Shambhavi Chaudhary, Legislative Councilor Dr. Tarun Kumar and candidates from all the four assembly constituencies along with workers of NDA constituent parties JDU, BJP, LJP (Ram Vilas), RLMO and HAM Secular and a large number of listeners were present.
